Public Testing Services LLC is a small, family-owned business providing environmental inspection and testing services. Our company consists of a few dedicated people who handle inspections, scheduling, laboratory coordination, invoicing, and reports.
When you contact PTS, you are working directly with the people who manage your project. We value clear communication, careful work, and helping you understand your results.
Start by completing our online inspection request form. Please provide your contact information, property address, the type of testing you need, and any deadlines or special requirements.
If testing is required by a contractor, flooring installer, municipality, or another organization, please share their requirements with us before the inspection.
We review your request, explain the proposed scope and pricing, and coordinate an appointment. Please let us know in advance if you need expedited service so we can confirm availability and any additional charges.
Submitting the request form starts the process. Your appointment is confirmed once our team contacts you and agrees on a date and time.
Please arrange access to the property and the areas requiring inspection. Share any previous reports or other information relevant to your project.
For material sampling, collecting a sample may leave a small mark or opening. Our inspector can explain what is needed during the visit.
Our inspector evaluates the agreed areas and collects samples or performs testing appropriate to your project. When laboratory analysis is needed, samples are submitted with documentation identifying the property and the materials or locations tested.
The report reflects the scope of the inspection and the areas accessible at the time of the visit. Concealed materials may require additional inspection if they become exposed later.
When laboratory analysis is required, we prepare your report after receiving and reviewing the results. Timing depends on the type of testing and laboratory service selected; we will explain the expected turnaround when arranging your inspection.
Your report documents the work performed and the findings within the agreed scope. Please keep it for your records and share it with your contractor or other requesting party as needed.
If you have questions about your report, contact us. We can explain the findings and discuss whether additional testing or follow-up services may be appropriate.
If previously concealed materials are discovered during renovation, contact PTS before disturbing them so we can discuss whether additional testing is needed.
Because we are a small team, we may be conducting inspections or preparing reports when you contact us. If we cannot answer immediately, please leave a message or email us with your property address and PTS job number, if available. This helps us locate your project and respond efficiently.
Thank you for supporting our family business.
